The ideal golfing conditions make the two-hour journey from Hanoi worthwhile. With the convenience of a bypass road connecting Tam Dao, Thanh Lanh, and Dai Lai golf areas, several exceptional golf clubs are easily accessible. Designed by the renowned Sir Nick Faldo, Thanh Lanh Golf Club showcases the artistry of this famous designer. Faldo and his team skillfully incorporated the natural landscape of Thanh Lanh Lake and the surrounding valleys of the Tam Dao mountains. The course offers distinct sections, including water-surrounded, hillside, parkland, and a short stretch of Links-style golf. The most breathtaking holes can be found on a peninsula overlooking Thanh Lanh Lake. The front and back nines both showcase the beauty of the site, with the finishing holes running along the shoreline of the lake towards the clubhouse, providing a magnificent backdrop of the mountains.
Faldo's design integrates natural streams and contours to add excitement and variety to each shot. While the course can stretch over 7,000 yards, the inclusion of five sets of tees and generous fairway widths ensures that players of all skill levels can enjoy the course.
